Board of Directors

Rayce Barnes, Incorporator/ Secretary

Rayce was raised in Wenatchee, WA. He attended college at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, WA, where he attained his commercial pilots license. He continued his education pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree from Washington State University in Pullman, WA. 

Rayce Opened his first business at the age of 28 and is now starting a new venture as a general contractor. 

He resides in Spokane, WA, with his wife Tiffany. Rayce continues to actively pursue his calling and passions in aviation, engineering, business, leadership, and service to others through his Christian discipleship.

Tiffany Barnes, President

Tiffany grew up in the small town of Ephrata, WA, before moving to Spokane in 2004 to attend Carrington College to become a pharmacy technician. Over the course of 9 years she was a pharmacy technician in retail and hospital settings, as well as, an instructor at Carrington College. After completing her Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics Technology and Management from Eastern Washington University in 2014, she became a Clinical informaticist for a large hospital network in the Northwest. She is currently employed as an Electronic Medical Records Analyst.

Tiffany's work allows her to stay closely connected with the ever changing elements of the health care system within the US, including access to information regarding public health disparities in the underprivileged and homeless populations. Her connections and spirit for information gathering will continue to help shape the growth and reach of SoLoved. 

Tiffany is married to Rayce Barnes, together they share their love for Christ and an unwavering desire to serve others. In their spare time they enjoy home improvement projects, traveling, and cooking with one another. Her husband's strong drive to make a difference through discipleship and service has been a beacon guiding her toward this great passion.

Justin Kapple, Vice President, Outreach Organizer

Justin grew up in a little town north of Spokane, WA, called Chattaroy, where he lived with his parents, sister, and various animals. After graduating from Riverside High School he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Eastern Washington University.

Justin has enjoyed being involved in many different things around the Spokane area. He has over seven years of youth ministry experience, has had the opportunity to travel to the Philippines twice on mission trips, and has helped in various ministries and non-profits around Spokane. 

Justin also enjoys snowboarding, playing softball, and has recently taken an interest in backpacking. For Justin, the most important thing you can do with your life if share the love of Christ to all you come into contact with in both word and deed. 

Jeff Mortensen, CFO, Treasurer

Jeff was born in Simi Valley, California, he was the sixth of what would become an incredible family of nine. As a child, he moved across the country before his family settled in Wenatchee, WA, in 1997. Jeff grew up in a religious family, but has since developed his own personal relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. A huge part of his development can be attributed to the wonderful example of his wife Tenille. Tenille and Jeff were married in June 2014, and have since begun building their lives together in Wenatchee with their dogs Beau and Georgia. Jeff currently works at a Wenatchee bank and his continuing his education in the field of accounting.
